Texas Compassionate Use Program – Coming Soon
The Texas Compassionate Use Act (Senate Bill 339) was signed by Gov. Greg Abbott and became effective June 1, 2015. The bill requires DPS to create a secure registry of physicians who treat epilepsy, and of patients who have been diagnosed with intractable epilepsy.
While we still have some time before Texas implements the rules and regulations for dispensaries we ask you to give us a little information about yourselves so we can be the first to take care of your needs.
Compassionate Access for Texas
We are here to bring lifesaving treatments to Texans with epilepsy
Despite available treatments, approximately one-third of people living with epilepsy suffer from uncontrolled or intractable seizures. Conventional medication has not been successful for everyone, but new treatments based on CBD, a hemp-derived oil, present a promising alternative. The problem is that CBD is illegal in Texas. We are trying to change that. We ask that you join us in the effort to work with our legislature to bring an important medication to our state.
